Nigel Lane

Nigel’s thirty-six year career in theatre has positioned him well for the many different hats he wears in most productions he’s involved in; none more so than RDP's Mass Appeal. He got his start in Fort McMurray where he was on stage in productions like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Fiddler on the Roof and A Midsummer Night's Dream and then moved to Red Deer where he soon became a fixture with Central Alberta Theatre.

With CAT and, now with Red Deer Players he has served in technical, directorial and board management capacities, however acting remains his true passion. He has enjoyed roles such as Juan Peron in Evita, Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar and Tobias in Sweeny Todd.  He recently enjoyed the role of antagonist Juror #3 in last year's production of Twelve Angry Men.  Anyone who saw him in that show will never forget it.
