The Artwork
Many of the paintings you will see on the set of Absinthe, Bourbon, Vodka and Sake are from several different series of work. The three Fragments paintings were created during the height/depth of the pandemic. The Matrix painting is from an earlier series; each piece was produced using a key card from the Matrix Hotel to push the paint around the canvas. Morrie was created to celebrate the 2008 Ignition Theatre season. Paul, who played Morrie in Tuesdays with Morrie, hid some of his lines from the script in the painting. Other work on the stage will include Flow, Affairs of the Arts, and two bronze sculptures.
It is important to point out that the original artwork you will see on the set of Absinthe, Bourbon, Vodka and Sake is for sale.
