Society Objective.
We are an active Community Theatre group participating in diverse theatrical activities for our own enjoyment and for the entertainment of the wider community.

Mission.
To be recognized as the first choice for high-quality and thought-provoking community theatre productions, that enrich the arts in the Red Deer area, and enhance the experience of our members.

Values.
As a group we believe in:
  • Community. This includes theatrical amateurs, those interested in theatre in some capacity and patrons of the theatre in Red Deer and the wider community
  • Opportunities to Participate. We provide guidance, mentorship and training to enable our members to grow and contribute to our theatrical productions..
  • Welcoming Newcomers. We believe that revitalization is critical and commit to welcoming newcomers in order to grow our membership and promote new ideas/expertise.
  • Related Activities. Community theatre is about more than being on stage. We commit to providing training and mentoring in all aspects of theatre such as acting, design, construction, technical and others areas related to theatre. We endeavor to fill the time between productions to host workshops and create mentorship opportunities.
  • Investment in Theatrical Arts. We invest in the future of the theatre arts by awarding the Carole Forhan Theatre Arts Scholarship to a deserving young person in our community on a yearly basis.
  • Not-for-Profit Sustainability. We are fiscally conscious so as to ensure the society’s  future is sustainable. We welcome sponsors and donors who share our vision of quality amateur theatre.
