New Dates to be announced ASAP - stay tunedHistory of Anne Frank
The play, The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, tells what happened when the Frank family, the Van Daan family and Mr. Dussel, mostly strangers, are forced to hide together in tiny quarters with next to nothing, unable to leave to go outside or to find solitude. They are forced to live this way while knowing that at any minute they could be found, arrested and shipped to a concentration camp like their friends and acquaintances. This is how they lived for almost two years. Anne’s diaries were found by those who helped hide the families and Otto Frank, the only survivor, had them published and dramatized. Our Director, Daryl Hoffman, wishes to convey Anne’s message of hope. |
Rehearsals well under way.
